Hollywood heavyweight Brad Pitt is set to star in and produce Heart of the Beast, a gripping action-adventure film directed by David Ayer for Paramount Pictures. This reunion marks their first collaboration since 2014’s Fury, where Pitt delivered a stellar performance as a battle-hardened Army sergeant during World War II.
Penned by Cameron Alexander, Heart of the Beast tells the harrowing tale of a former Army Special Forces soldier and his retired combat dog, who must fight for survival after a plane crash leaves them stranded in Alaska’s unforgiving wilderness. With a thrilling plot and emotional depth, the film promises to captivate audiences.
Pitt’s production company, Plan B Entertainment, will be spearheading the project alongside Ayer’s Crave Films, Damien Chazelle’s Wild Chickens Productions, and Temple Hill Entertainment. Chazelle, the celebrated director of La La Land, will also join as a producer.
For Pitt, this film follows his recent work on Apple TV+’s action-comedy Wolfs, where he teamed up with George Clooney, and the high-octane racing drama F1, which releases in theaters in June 2025.
In addition to acting, Pitt continues to excel as a producer, having backed critically acclaimed films like Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Bob Marley: One Love, and Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey 17.
With a star-studded production team and a powerful narrative, Heart of the Beast is poised to be one of the most anticipated films of the year.
