Suits fans, get ready to get Litt up! Rick Hoffman is officially reprising his iconic role as Louis Litt in an upcoming episode of Suits LA, NBC’s spinoff of the hit legal drama.
Hoffman, who starred in all nine seasons of Suits, will appear in a single episode of the new series, though there’s potential for more if the show secures a second season. This marks the second major return of an original cast member—Gabriel Macht, known for playing Harvey Specter, is also making a three-episode appearance. However, their storylines won’t overlap, according to Deadline.
Series creator Aaron Korsh has hinted that Suits LA will feature additional familiar faces from the original show. “Harvey is not the only Suits character we’re going to see,” Korsh told TVLine. However, he emphasized a balance between nostalgia and establishing Suits LA as a standalone series.
For fans eager to see how these returning characters fit into the new legal landscape, Suits LA airs Sundays at 9/8c on NBC.
