Would Backstreet Boys Tour With *NSYNC? Here’s What They Say

Boyband fans have long dreamed of a *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys joint tour, but according to BSB, it’s not happening—at least not anytime soon.

In an exclusive interview with E! News, AJ McLean made it clear that while a collaboration with NSYNC would be legendary, it’s not in the cards right now. “They haven’t done something in over 22 years,” he said of NSYNC’s touring history. “And we’re gonna keep doing what we do.” However, he did leave the door slightly open, adding, “No one knows what the future holds. We’ll see what happens.”

For now, Backstreet Boys are focusing on their upcoming residency at Sphere Las Vegas, where they’ll perform their iconic Millennium album in its entirety. “We’re honored,” Nick Carter shared. “We are the first pop band ever to perform at this incredible venue.” Fans can expect classics like I Want It That Way and Larger Than Life, plus some “hidden little gems” and even a brand-new single, Hey.

Meanwhile, NSYNC members Joey Fatone and Lance Bass have hinted that a reunion tour would require serious planning. Though Fatone joined up with Backstreet Boys' AJ on the Legendary Nights Tour last year, Joey said a *NSYNC would be harder to coordinate.

"The five of us need to get together to have that conversation,” Joey explained, citing family and personal commitments. Lance also admitted that while the idea is exciting, fans shouldn’t hold their breath just yet.

So, while a joint tour isn’t in the works, both groups continue to leave their mark on pop music history—whether together or apart.
